We are developing our training to provide bespoke sessions for professionals from the hair and beauty industry, including barbers, beauticians and tattoo artists.
Reducing the Risk are offering FREE domestic abuse training for those working in South and Vale in Oxfordshire.
Transformations – changing our response to domestic abuse
This training is provided by Reducing the Risk and funded by the South & Vale Community Safety Partnership.
Domestic abuse affects 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men in their lifetime. It can impact anyone within our communities, and we want to better equip people to be able to support and signpost those affected.
Please join us for one of our free online events tailored to the hair and beauty industry including nail bars, tattooists and ear-piercing establishments. We hope this will highlight the impact of domestic abuse, and give you the opportunity to find out what you can do to support someone you work with, or your clients if you think they may be experiencing domestic abuse.
The event is running at the following dates and times:
- 28th February 6-7:30pm
- 14th March 6-7:30pm
- 28th March 6-7:30pm
Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know working in these occupations. They can book a FREE place on Eventbrite.
People interested can also sign up to the Champion Hub for further information on training, news and resources.
This event is a collaboration between Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse and the South and Vale Community Safety Partnership.
