The national Nightstop Network comprises over 30 services across the UK, and is run by national homeless charity Depaul UK. Nightstop Milton Keynes offers emergency accommodation for young people facing homelessness.
At the moment Nightstop are recruiting volunteer hosts and volunteer drivers – if you have a spare room or a full and clean driving license and want to be part of a unique, safe, flexible and life changing opportunity for young people, please get in touch!
Following an enquiry and application, volunteers are visited, supported and trained to become a Nightstop volunteer. Training covering a variety of topics including information about clients, do’s and don’ts, practical tips, advice on maintaining boundaries and how to access support.
Nightstop Milton Keynes are holding a number of information sessions via Zoom, this will be an opportunity to ask questions and gain information from Nightstop Milton Keynes, Nightstop UK and existing hosts. The dates and links for these are:
